Ed honed his playing skills at LaSalle University, where he was #1 Singles Player his junior & senior years. He also was on the Atlantic 10 Honor Roll 1996-98. At LaSalle High School Ed was a four time All-Catholic Selection, named twice the top player in the league. He comes from a tennis family, the Colfer Family being named Philadelphia’s Tennis Family of the Year in 1998. Ed’s teaching philosophy is: “have fun while learning something new”.
