ANOTHER SMASHINGLY SUCCESSFUL SOCIAL 7.18.2024

July 18 dawned with a slight break of the oppressive heat & humidity that had been lingering in the area for weeks…pleasantly cool early morning air. A high of 86 degrees with lower humidity was the forecast for the day.  Great weather for the DVTC Social!

4:45 PM found the court irrigation system on, preparing the courts for great tennis. In the clubhouse some Board members & volunteers were setting up for food & hospitality.  5:30 PM found 11 courts full with doubles matches, feelings of joy & fun permeating the air, while non-playing guests & members congregated on the clubhouse porch.

As players finished their matches & made their way to the clubhouse, food & fraternity was the order of the evening. Some 70 members & guests enjoyed an evening of fun & camaraderie,  sharing food & good will as the sun set over Huntingdon Valley……another smashingly successful Social at DVTC!
