Members remember fondly our fellow player & doubles organizer Tony, who passed away shortly after playing on the courts at DVTC last season, exclaiming this phrase when a match was concluded (among his many other “Tony-isms”).
Well, at this writing the phrase is referring to our 2024 season which extended from April – Thanksgiving! Thank you, Mother Nature (yes, it takes a woman!)!
While we are sad to see the wonderful days of outdoor tennis at DVTC come to a close for 2024 we are so grateful for the pleasant memories that we will have to get us through the indoor season (& the harsh realities of winter!). The great weather, the wonderful courts, the ideal setting, the social events, the camaraderie of old & new friends, fun tennis…..for all of these we are grateful & look forward with great anticipation to next season!
