As the days grow shorter, mid August has brought beautiful weather with lower temps & lower humidity... take a minute to appreciate the gift of being able to enjoy this game that we love at DVTC! The club is unique in many ways. The abundance of soft surface courts & the freedom to play without having to reserve a court! Ahhhh….. the simple things that bring joy!
Live gratitude! Gratitude for the ability to participate, gratitude that an oasis of beauty surrounds our courts, gratitude for the many kind people at DVTC, & gratitude to those who continue to play in the groups organized throughout the summer. Gratitude for the generosity of members who gladly donate can tabs for Ronald McDonald House, rackets for those in need to participate in community tennis programs, & used tennis balls for those who use traditional walkers in a retirement community to ease their movement. There is much for which to be grateful! Bring kindness & joy!
